Sisterhood

The Sisterhood of SSTC Sisterhood is an active arm of the synagogue, made up of a dynamic, vibrant group of women of all ages, who together work toward providing rich and varied programs of educational, cultural and social value for the congregation.  We offer a wonderful opportunity for the women of the community to build relationships that transcend time spent at the synagogue in casual, relaxed settings, and to have fun!

Our SSTC Sisterhood women have the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company while participating in enriching events and programs such as cooking demonstrations, flower arranging classes, motivational and inspirational speakers, chesed projects, knitting and book clubs, exercise classes, holiday boutiques, and interactive arts programs.  We hold joint social activities with the Men’s Club and continue to strengthen our bond with Israel through programs such our Rosh Hashanah gift project, in which members can wish their fellow congregants a Shanah Tovah by sending a gift basket with products purchased from Israel.

We continually look for programs to enhance the lives of the women of SSTC and the community. We rely on volunteers to plan and execute each event and welcome all those that want to participate!
